Do you think it’s Trajan Langdon because that’s name I’ve heard the most or do you think that was a name to throw ppl off.

So Lauscha was just on the radio and the way he talked about the consultant was odd. He talked about it like it was a single person consulting. And they would be “announced soon”. Very odd.

So you think they already have their guy and they are just negotiating? If so, do you think it a solid choice?

You have to expect at least 2 of the names are people we’ve kicked around.

Zarren, Langdon, Tolzman, Hinkie, Weaver, etc etc.

And I’m sure a few guys we haven’t discussed.

If history is any indication we are looking at Joe Dumars, Avery Johnson, Jim Paxson, Ike Thomas and Kevin McHale

“On the football side, there has been a fanatical obsession with doing everything to win a championship – everything,” Lauscha said. “Our entire focus is there. We have to bring that same focus to the basketball side, as well. And I’m not saying it wasn’t there. I’m just saying it has to be brought to a higher level (than it was before).”
I appreciate the self awareness starting to seep in.

Gayle made a reference that Danny has done a great job, but that They were bribing someone else in.

We've already talked about how Ferry might not want to leave Atlanta right now. Most of the top shelf candidate list is likely to give them a quick no based on their personal situation and wanting to wait for the perfect opportunity. It might get down to Hinkie and the up and coming assistants pretty quickly.

The other factor to consider:

There is a chance this job could be way more appealing on May 16th than it is right now. And almost no chance that it could be less appealing. So, why not wait?

I agree. There's nothing about the info that came out today that needs to be viewed negatively.

People whined for more info, then got the info, answers that seemed to be exactly what they said they wanted to hear...and are still mad.

Trajan Langdon

When I was watching him play college ball for Duke in the '90's, never did it enter my mind that the Alaskan Assassin would end up being GM of a New Orleans NBA team.

How much more attractive though? And I’d assume we want someone before that to assess and lay groundwork on any trade.
