The LSUAD is busting at the seems with way too many "X-LSU Athletes" that are incompetent in their job performance and were only hired because of the GOB (Good Ole Boy) connection to the AD from their playing days. They're not qualified or competent in their job performance.
So wait, now we don’t want people that talk like us? Are one of us?

It's not about guilt or innocence, it's what the NCAA can prove. It's not Wade's job to prove he is innocent, it is the NCAA's job to prove he committed a violation.

That’s definitive.
PS: McKay is not very credible.

So for everyone wondering why Wade won't just meet with admin- now you know.

Well, the Will Wade hit pieces LSU had the Advocate putting out on a daily basis have slowed down. That seems to be a good sign that the parties are having productive.

Don't know if Bo ever coached men's golf.
But I did report him to Skip once for telling me I couldn't use a bathroom at the old Box.
Bo is trash.

The Hayride is the only place I've seen credible coverage of the story since the LSU AD media assault.

Yeah. I've noticed that too. Don't want to get my hopes up.

Uh...they have fbi tapes of him speaking on what portions of the "offer" was divided between mom, son, and handler.
It doesnt matter if it was bacon...its a top violation because he spoke of the offer enticing the kid to commit.

I understand your general point, but the above statement is incorrect.
The NCAA, LSU, SEC, Will Wade, Yahoo, ESPN... none of these posess any tapes with Will Wade on it at the moment, nor have they even heard said tapes.

Why aren't they letting the ATHLETIC DIRECTOR BE THE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR???
We pay coaches not to coach and ADs not to direct.

Yeah, that's not accurate. The only people who have that are the FBI and the defense counsel in that case (who selectively leaked out portions to a blogger). The reality is the NCAA and LSU will likely never get the tapes. The best way to get them is if they are admitted into evidence in the trial in April, and I just don't see how these tapes are relevant to the crimes these defendants are accused of committing. Other than that, I'm not sure the FBI hands out copies of wiretaps to the public after a trial is completed.

Who is Miriam Segar?
quote:
NCAA Committee on Infractions chairman Dennis Thomas said LSU's violations were considered "major." He stressed that punishment could have been more severe if not for the efforts of LSU's compliance department.
He pointed specifically to senior associate athletic director Miriam Segar, who became suspicious of Hicks' living arrangements from the time he arrived in Baton Rouge. According to an earlier LSU report on the matter, Segar spent weeks pressing for answers and made the decision to bar Hicks from traveling to LSU's 2009 season-opening game at Washington because she was unsatisfied with the information she had received.
"That was critical," said Thomas, who is also the commissioner of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. "If that had not been done, the institution could have really been under more severe and serious penalties as well."

Who is Scott McKay?
He was one of the more intense posters there, but usually told nothing but the truth. I was pumped when he told us he was starting Purple and Gold magazine. I thought he'd do something with it.
He did for a while, then kind of went faded away until he launched The Hayride.
Glad to see he's still doing good work.

Same goes for witness questioning. I would be surprised if anything came out implicating Wade in any wrongdoing. I doubt the judge will just give the defense a free-for-all and allow them to grill witnesses about unrelated matters.
