When I see older Boomers sharing Billy Jeff's immigration speech from the 90's, it only confirms the progression that happens.

Well by looking at global trends.. I bet it will involve intense nationalism and populism as a core part of the identity.
Because the most effective counter to liberal ideology seems to be to go on the attack and question their loyalty/motive.

Yep.
Self identified conservatives are probably the biggest collection of politically incompetent people in US. history. Sure, there are some good ones in there but that's probably because the only allowable right wing denomination is "conservative republican" and everyone has to self identify with it to get any traction at all.

If you take a look at a website called freenortherner, he explains that demographic as "Mid-American Radicals", who are woefully under-served in electoral politics. Trump is the closest to their candidate in ages.

Funny, I have to start most political conversations with," I'm right-wing, but im not a conservative & I'm sure as hell not a Republican."
They're not sure how such a person can exist.

Just what you've been doing for the last umpteen years. Grumble and complain on social media.
Conservatives are cowardly, or apathetic, or a little of both. When do you ever see rallies of conservatives take over parks and encamp there for weeks, or months, or block entrance to buildings, or block freeways, or do any act of civil disobedience? Never. All the energy and passion are with the "radical middle", not conservatives.

They have to be at work.

Conservatives are independent-minded. They don’t think of themselves as part of a group or sect. They think of themselves as Americans. They think of others as other independent individuals. They are more concerned with improving theirs and their families’ lot in life and less with what others are doing.
With liberals it’s the exact opposite. They are collectivist minded and are fervent about others conforming to that collective. The “other” is of critical importance, because that other person cannot be a drag on where the collective is headed.
What Hemp said is correct. Conservatives will lose because it’s inherent in both philosophies. It’s easier to take a hammer and break something than it is to build it up. Conservatives painstakingly try to preserve what has been built over centuries. Progressives wish to completely demolish and build something totally different. This is history in a nutshell. Humanity goes through this exact same cycle over and over again.

You really need to stop trying so hard. Your posts are absolutely pathetic.

It was also decorum to provide college transcripts and birth certificates until Obama didn't.

Mohican,
Your type always loses. The other person is always a drag on where the collective is headed. Without individual responsibility there is no motivation.
And let me ask you this. In the Union of Soviet Socialist Repulic (USSR), how can there be Russian oligarchs?
Socialism inevitably fails because of a fundamental flaw. That is, when everything is free, people do not give according to their ability. And it's plainly true people don't 'give according to their ability.'
Socialism/Communism has been a total failure in the history of human events. Such thinking has always resulted in slavery of the masses.
Slavery is not unique to the United States. Blacks are mistaken about this. There are more White slaves today in America than the total of black slaves in since Christopher Columbus landed here.
