Ok, who is the source for the OLOL rumors?

Jordy and T-Bob?
You do realize there would have to be a full blown audit in order to uncover something like this. Who performed said audit?
There a lot of "I know a guy who is friends with a guy" and "things don't look good" posts but absolutely nothing
of substance from any reputable source. Local talk radio is a joke.
I will wait to see something of substance before we start talking about LSU being guilty of anything. Incidently, anyone who thinks college athletics is pure and clean is a damn idiot.

This started coming out months ago. Google “John Paul Funes”. I think there was an article in the BR Business Report. Not related to LSU Athletics when it first broke but I remember reading that there was an audit.

Not fake news at all. Boosters were directed to make donations to the foundation on behalf of athletes to provide jobs and payments. Complicated scheme but been going on for years and not only at LSU. This is only an issue because someone got sloppy and Deloitte uncovered it. The whole organization was complicit and gave LSU deniability. Now that JP is about to go down, he is taking others with him and the song birds are singing.

Check out @JacquesDoucet seems to be spreading this same "fake news" today. Can't wait to see the OLOL statement today. Why would the local BR sports reporter care about this when he is at SEC Tourney today? I expect a full apology from you later today.

The OLOL "missing money" is absolutely being audited. These things take time.
I hope to hell OLOL wasn't paying money directly. It may be that the JP was cashing checks to himself / fake entities, and then using that money to make the athlete payments (if that is what is happening). But an audit of the OLOL books may not stretch far enough down that rabbithole.
In other words, the audit will determine that the payments to JP or to bogus entities were improper. But that audit by itself may not be able to trace far enough to see where the money eventually went, especially if it went through several buckets.
