Short version please....

Lets stay away from, "they killed Jesus". Why is it that universally, jews have been persecuted, ridiculed, etc.. Moreso than any other sect.

History shows jews have been kicked out of almost every country they have ever resided in.

Some of the common reasons are usury and jews generally being in charge of the financial institutions, real estate, and banks.

EDIT: I post this from a neutral perspective. Please do not misinterpret my post as being anti-jewish, I am simply citing the reasons that historians would cite.

I'm so glad you brought this up. This has needed to be discussed for a long time, and we are the very first people to do so, and will definitely get to the bottom of it.

Take note, world.

Because God designated the Jews as his people, Satan wants them exterminated.

I can't explain it because it makes no sense. Even if the Jews did some things that might have annoyed some people, the sense of decency and tolerance that every Christian should have could in no way ever have allowed the egregious examples of ill-treatment that we've seen in history, past and recent past.

In sum, this historical ill-treatment has been extremely harmful to Humanity, past and present, because of its gross level of Evil.

At least for the European experience:

1. Jews were long insular, easily identified and maintained many of their "other" status cultural traditions, through the European pagan and early Christian period. Much like the Gypsies, Jews were always easy to identify and (where convenient) scapegoat.

2. After the Templars created "modern" international banking and corporations, they were deleted by a French king and willing Pope. Christian restrictions on usury allowed Jews to fill that vacuum for, particularly, international finance (as they had no such religious restrictions).

3. While European nationalism certainly plays a part, the role that prominent Jews played in the early Communist, anti-Royal movements across the continent certainly led to more nationalistic, xenophobic reactions (and scapegoating) to them for various woes (regardless of their actual culpability), culminating in the Nazi Holocaust.

The ME/SW Asian version is going to take longer, but that's my best first take for your "short version please".

They generally are successful everywhere they go, in the face of persecution. People don't like that because it challenges their notice if their own superiority

Envy

For whatever reason, no matter where they end up, Jews, as a group, tend to be more successful than their counterparts.

And, human nature being what it is, NO ONE ever fricking contemplates that the reason this occurs is their own fault. So, that makes Jews a target for hate.

Honestly, it's the same reason all "under" groups dislike "over" groups. No group has the intestinal fortitude to admit that maybe they lose because of their own shortcomings.

There are lots of groups that have been persecuted for various reasons, but Jews have survived that persecution, for whatever reason. That persecution gave Jewish peoples a shared identity, history and a set of experiences which have made them distrustful of non-Jewish peoples.

Historical hatred of Jews has moved in a couple of phases. First there was anti-Jewish feeling, which is distinct from antisemitic feeling, as it was based on religion alone rather than ethnic grouping. That religious feeling changed to a more general ethnic one once Europeans themselves saw themselves as ethnic groups, which was based on a shared language, culture, and religious feeling. The latter, racial antisemitism, has been the most destructive, in my view, because it allowed Europeans to wash their hands of the general antisemitic feeling that characterized European-Jewish interaction for much of history. Not only did it lead to the greatest loss of life, but it also somehow erased the degree to which there was a general antisemitic feeling in all of Europe, a feeling which helped create a situation where the massive loss of life could occur.

I'm sure some would claim I'm spreading an anti-semitic trope:

Some would say they're insular and typically successful. That combination can ruffle non-Jews, especially if perceived as not suffering in the same manner as everyone else during troubling times.

Strip religion and ethnicity out of it: If one small body of people is doing well (even if by their own work/merit) and most of that success stays within the group, outsiders tend to get miffed.

Counterpoints:

Maybe people shouldn't/have no legitimate basis to get miffed
Maybe Jews aren't as insular as people perceive
Maybe to the extent Jews are insular, they have good reason to be
Maybe Jews aren't as universally successful as people perceive
Maybe to the extent they are that successful, "others" should keep up rather than get pissed about it

I’ll handle the USA part-The best place to be Jewish in world history is the good old USA. It’s not even debatable. This is the promised land. They are free and safe here, they succeed here, they excel here. Blessed with a few extra IQ points and a cultural history that values education and commerce, they are disproportionately successful. This leads to resentment.

Christians historically had animus for reasons we all understand. The ancient hatred never really took hold here though. The predominant American version of anti-Semitic hatred is Leftist ideology. The lesser but growing anti Semitic hatred is from The Right and aimed at Neocons and Leftist Jews who have been huge supporters of policies that have been ruinous to America.

A lot of European anti-semitism seems to stem from this book which was published by the Russians I believe but disseminated as if it were written by Jews and discussing Jewish plans to take over the banks.
Wikipedia - protocols

I believe Henry Ford publishes a bunch of copies in the U.S. - I just linked wiki for the title didn’t read for details.

Will be as short as possible. As a people/religion they have about 4000-4500 years of recorded history more or less to learn from. This means that they have seen and experienced just about everything and they have recorded it. Take the Black Plague in Europe for example. The Jews recognized very early on what he plague was and ways to stem its destruction, so they moved out of the large cities and settled in the countyside in smaller villages and developed the "kosher" way of life with strict dietary and cleanliness rules, etc. so as a result, the Jews of Europe in particular suffered much less than the ethnic European types. As a result the European types thought that the Jews had a made a deal with the devil,

On the money end, the Jews learned about banking back in the days of the Babylonian Captivity especially once the Persians came in....he Persians are actually the Godfathers of the world of banking.
