Found an article. That sign is at the end of highway 23 apparently.

Anywho...article is more like a blog. The guy said he wanted to see the coastline before it went underwater because of coastal erosion. Let’s be real...is Louisiana really losing 51 acres a day??

You are correct. I remember going to Pilottown once as a kid. Nothing memorable, just the long arse drive from Mandeville.

something at the mouth of the river or somewhere around Winn Parish. 60ish miles in any direction to get to an interstate

I would love to a ride to the chandelier island one weekend but I’m sure I’ll need a bigger boat to do it

Yeah, that looks pretty hard to get to...

I drove to Acme, and tried to take the Red River levee road to make the loop back to LA15, but found the road to be closed about 15 miles down it. Extreme BFE.

Didn't it used to be Burrwood? I also nominate Bohemia, on the east Bank of Plaquemines, which barely still exists.

Y'all talking about Larto, I just drove down there like last week. I wanted to see where the smallest high school in the state was, Central (officially Central-Jonesville to the LHSAA). They haven't won many basketball games recently lol and usually have between 15-20 kids across all 4 grades.

They have one official basketball win since 2011. Pretty sure they've voted for the split more times than that lol

So the Google is better than Chicken’s search engine. Mental note.
