My family grew up there and my two older brothers were even born there. Most residents moved out after Camille.

Was a special place growing up but not much left to it now.

I will cast a vote for Larto. Been all over the state, and had no idea how rural that area is until a few years ago. Hell, you can’t even get by highway 3102 for weeks at a time due to high water.
