I do 30 second sprints jump off and rest 15 seconds. I do 16-20 intervals of this
Let’s just call them fast runs. You’re not sprinting like that.

How about some before and after pics?
No Homo
This is pretty standard stuff for these kinds of threads
Just blur out your face

I’ve been watching this thread, great work man! I started late February at 280 and currently this morning at 229. I had a lot of extra weight to lose so obviously that’s why that 50 lbs dropped so fast. 240 was my original goal because I didn’t want to discourage myself along the journey. I really would love to get to 200-205 and I’m only 25-30 lbs away.

Holy shite, rock on dude!
You've already done the hard part in starting. Why stop now? I say shoot for that 200 mark

Definitely no stopping now, I used to focus so much on running that I would just run and not walk enough but now I’m walking atleast 5-7 miles a day and only running 2 or 3 times a week. My joints are definitely thanking me for losing that weight. Not having a time line and seeing other people’s journeys here have definitely helped me stay focused.

I started this week doing 30 second run with 10 second break

I started on my journey at the beginning of January, just a bit before you. I was at 215 and set a goal of 175 for myself. By May I was down to between 185-190. Baseball season heated up and my drinking kicked up a notch. I spent a month or so pretty much just maintaining at that. After baseball season ended I have kicked it into full gear. I'm down to 182 earlier in the week.
The eating much healthier is just a normal thing for me now. When I know I'm going to have a dinner that's not the best I am sure to exercise more and be very careful of what I eat during the day.
I do some light weight lifting 5-6 times a week. Also started doing couch to 5k just as a way to get some running in. I've not a slow twitch person, so running distance has never been my thing even when I was in great shape. I stopped C25K when I got really deep in and it got to 20 min of running at a time. I restarted after baseball season on week 1. On the other days I lift, but don't do C25K I use my elliptical.
Not sure I'll stop at 175. I'm thinking I'll push it down to 160 or so.

I started my weight loss on Feb 23rd. I was 253.6 lbs. I had just turned 58 yrs. At first I just watched what I ate and in 2.5 months lost 26 lbs but stalled. Then I started keto about a month ago and have lost an additional 17 lbs, now at 210.8. Total weight loss 42.8 lbs. Goal weight is 160. The only exercise is walking, I try to get in at least 2 -3 miles four times a week. I still have a long way to go but I'm fitting in clothes much better and that's a big plus.

Have you tried doing real sprints?
If your work/rest ratio is 3:1 .... that’s great for interval training but let’s be real..... you could push those runs WAYYYYYY harder.

You should really think long and hard about adding in some lifting, you would benefit greatly from it.

I know it, I'm working on the " Just do it" part.
