Probably the BVIs.

USVIs are nice as well. Would wager snorkel and diving is better. Can get a few lobsters for the grill pretty easily.

Have to go out about 20 miles for good deep water fishing.

This helps Trump's case for an impenetrable barrier on the southern border.

If Mexico loses the Yucatán to the cartels then they are really fricked. They quarantined that area off so it was safe for tourism. The Mexican riviera is amazing so I hope for many reasons they can keep their shite together.

Agree. Mafia for most part wanted to fly under radar, at least families that were in it for long run.

Also, in the Mafia, taking innocent life was very frowned upon. They only killed or beat up rival gangs or sometimes complicit politicians and other corrupt public officials.

Going to those kinds of places in Mexico is about the same kind of stupid as a bunch of white teenagers going to a North Baton Rouge neighborhood bar.

Go to Mexico. Stay in the resorts. Take the sponsored tours. Don't venture out to discover the "real" Mexico on your own. It'd be like me going out to discover the "real" Dallas by going to a bar in South Dallas. The risk factor is just stupidly high.

This just seems incredibly naive. A better idea is to just avoid the country altogether.

Cartel - Mafia, they operate very similar

Mafia never killed innocent civilians they kept it within the ranks. That’s how they operated so long without much pressure from law enforcement.

Glad I went there in 2004. Even then, I felt like I might get knifed or kidnapped if I wandered off the beaten path.
