No not really.
Explain this to me.
How did so many games that he was trying to fix not turn out the way he wanted?
It’s bc even if he wants to control the outcome he can’t do it bc the players ultimately decide who win.

77% of the games got the outcome he wanted. Again, GTFO here with this nonsense.

At some point you just learn to ignore him

I see Boom is doing his Skip Bayless hot take routine, but the most interesting part of this article to me is how David Stern swept this under the rug by derailing the FBI investigation into other refs by leaking it to the media and then having his hot shot lawyer buddy steer the “independent” investigation to find no fixing As always, David Stern is a fricking gangster
Imagine if Goodell pulled something like this.

He'd somehow frick it up and send evidence of him fixing the independent investigation to the FBI
I would honestly vote for David Stern to hold public office. Dude is an executive legend.

I know. He is nothing more than an idiot troll. From the article linked in the OP:

"Tommy Martino on how much Donaghy said he could influence an NBA game

50% of the games would fall on either side of the spread naturally.
So half the games got the result he wanted. Half didn’t. He couldn’t just snap his fingers and get the result he wanted.

People on this board have trouble deciphering between a "troll" and an "idiot"
He is the latter

Oh so you now know exactly how many times he tried to influence the outcome of a game and failed? So if he calls fouls to get teams to the free throw line to influence whether or not a team covers the spread, are you saying the team shooting free throws earned the win because they made the free throws? Even if the free throw attempts were manufactured by a ref trying to manipulate the score? No, he cannot make the shots for another team, but he damn sure can give them enough opportunities to achieve his desired outcome. This is just a really terrible hill to die on, boom, and I think you know that.

It’s factual that a ref was involved in intentionally effectin the outcome of NBA games. Are you just ignorant?

I was using the other guys numbers. He’s the one who posted the 77%. Ibimagine the games he tried to influence and lost were much more than he Will admit to Bc he someone like that will want people to think he had more of an influence than he really did bc of his ego.

I’m aware of that. I’m saying even if the ref does make a call or two wrong the game still could have been won by the players.
Take the saints game. Even if the call was intentionally missed, we still had so many other chances to win that game. That’s why I can’t blame the refs even if they maybe were cheating. There were just so many other opportunities for us out there.

Well, in that case, cheating by refs is perfectly acceptable.
I mean, the team that is being impacted should still win if they are good enough.
I don’t know why anyone cares about a ref trying to fix a game.
