I recently added 2 mo sticks of 8GB. Wanted more lights. I know there are cheaper lights. But I'm throwing money at my machine. Serious though, done for a while.

You don't need an aftermarket cooler for that i5 8400. The stock one is fine. Still the best CPU for gaming IMO. You can get a cheaper Mobo too since it's locked.
That PSU is probably overkill too.
I'm not a fan of Rosewill cases.

What resolution and refresh rate are you wanting to play at?

I have a decent amount experience building PCs...I highly recommend not cheaping out on the motherboard or the case...my original build I bought a $20 case and it was pretty frustrating and cable management options sucked and the power button was cheap plastic. Spend at least $70 on a case imo. You don’t need to spend an absurd amount on the motherboard but don’t look for a mobo less than $120...you want it to be sturdy and not a complete piece of crap.

Looked up the Dell you mentioned. Looks like that would perform well for 3 Windows 10 VMs just running my bots/plex. Problem is, I wouldn't have the first clue on how to set it up. Like, you have have to have a monitor or do you ssh in from a laptop? That's way over my head man.

Is there a reason the OS isn't included in the price lists?

Yeah most of us here probably don't pay for Windows. Not that I'm admitting to anything.

Yeah it's made me think. It's probably overkill for my needs for now, but if I ever scale up it would probably be great. I'd toss a plex server on there and be gold.
