You also thought Ayton and Zona were going to the championship last year

And compared Ayton to Shaq

Do you not understand percentages and odds of that happening? The system isn't how it was when the Magic kept winning.

They would trade him for AD because they would finally have something the Pels want. They don't have time with Lebron aging to wait out a rookie, no matter how good of a prospect he is.

Nah. The AD's trade value has plummeted. Major difference in having to wait 2 seasons for him than just one. Pel's dropped the ball on this one

Iverson is a good comparison except he played a much tougher level of competition

Iverson defeated Kerry kittles in the open court in the big east champ game. Back before carry and travel were winked at. Big east was the bomb back then.

LBJ would do the same thing with Zion that he did with Wiggins and trade him for AD or another player. LBJ doesn’t have time to wait on a rookie.

Zion is like a Barkley/Malone genetic crossin
much much quicker than either. his post game is raw. fe relies on quickness only but he when he learns the nbs post game and develops a consistent shot he will be unstoppable

Pippen thinks he will have the biggest impact since Jordan; yes bigger than Lebron.

I don't know how he can say that he believes he will be one of the best 2 players now, but good on him

He is the best prospect since LeBron
He wont as be as good as AD or Durant, nor Giannis. He will be a more athletic Draymond. A fringe top 10 player in the NBA

I'd be stunned if he wasn't a perennial all-star

People have said the same thing about a lot of five star players that have come from Duke. How many of them are perennial all-stars? What makes Zion any different? Because he can jump higher?

And almost all of them are in their early 20s.

But your point really isn’t true. The draft guys I follow weren’t high at all on Tatum, Okafor, or Bagley. And they’re falling over themselves to praise Zion.

And what makes Zion different than almost anyone is his team defense, ability to get steals and blocks in man defense or when helping, and above all, his efficiency.

This is from a month ago, but his numbers are essentially identical and the point stands, even as his competitor has increased.

Zion will be a star; I would draft him number one regardless. Zion should be illegal in college basketball. I think he wins an MVP in the NBA. He's basically Lebron at 18.

Hadn't gotten to see a full game of his until a couple of weeks ago.

Kid is already NBA ready. Unreal.

NBA is full of them. I am not denying he's good. But other than his leaping ability nothing really stands out. Good Duke players dominate in college, that's well proven. In the NBA, oustide of the 2 in the spotlight, the rest have just ended up being role players. The thing that binds them together is that everyone came all over their microphones when talking about how x player from duke would wreck the NBA.
