Take a look at Brooklyn 99. The captain is a black gay man, the sarge is a gentle giant, the detectives are all a collection of types. And the chemistry is great and they use those character traits as part of the stories on the show.

Pretty much. I mean, the only way they could make it more on the nose is if Elsa also happened to be a top flight women’s athelete and an incredibly talented artist both musically and visually.
It’s almost as if pop culture is teaching girls that if you’re talented at anything other than straight book smarts and you’re even the least bit assertive, that it means your gay. Even when paired with a “being gay is great” message, that still seems like a really destructive self image to be foisting upon children. Especially when you contextualize it with the whole, if you want to be successful, you can’t have children meme. It’s like they’re indoctrinating our intelligent, talented, and driven children not to reproduce while paying the idiots of our society to make as many f$&k trophies as possible...
