I want Grant Achatz to create the essence of a king cake where someone comes by your table and throws beads at you, but the beads actually explode which release a liquid that gives all the flavors and aromas of a king cake.

Ice cream king cakes are pretty common. A good one is from Piccola Gelateria on Freret in NOLA.

She's 7th Day Adventist, I don't think she cares to much for Mardi Gras.
I'm surprised they do the holiday stuff though, they aren't supposed to celebrate them.
