Adventists are christians and celebrate most christian holidays, but not mardi gras.

Strict Adventists in Collegedale, TN where I live and so does Little Debbie don’t celebrate holidays in the way the mainstream celebrate them. They aren’t supposed to fall into the trap of picking one day as the day to celebrate and are supposed to celebrate it year round. The more lax ones celebrate them. It’s hardcore here in Collegedale, town shuts down completely on Saturdays.
