I mean. I’m not a fan of Blindside but you do realize we live in a world where this happened, right?

I really don’t even consider it so much an actual sports movie as I do a family feel-good drama that has a sports backdrop. I mean is there even a training montage or a championship game with a last second comeback? Seriously, I can’t remember if there was turning-point game scene in the movie, was there?
ETA and I know the same of what I posted can be said about a lot of sports movies, but The Blind Side just seemed to be more about the story of a guy who happened to play football than about the sport itself. But then again I guess if he hadn’t played football then there wouldn’t be a story to tell about him anyone would care to see. Let me stop, this is getting into “Is Die Hard a Christmas movie?” territory![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

Major league 3: back to the minors

i thought it was a well done movie
now i didnt read the book so i cant speak to accuracy of the movie but it wouldnt even make my list of "worst" sports movies
it was a "sports related" life story, it wasnt supposed to be a "sports movie" so maybe thats why you didnt like it, your expectations were wrong going in.

I liked it more the first time I saw it than I do today.

I didn’t enjoy the movie. They over did everything and it just wasn’t reality. Even the star was pissed at the way he was portrayed.
