Pretty sure the show has never implied Daryl as dumb. All your other points are pretty much the same making your bitching retarded. Also Negan is still around. That kind of snowflake whining may get you brownie points over at PT but not here

How about the fact that every settlement, good and evil, is ruled over by women? Just a coincidence too, huh?

Negan was the only remotely interesting character left on the show and now they've turned him into a sniveling wimp that gets bullied by a 6 year old girl. If this show was a horse they would shoot it in the head.

I come here to actually talk about the show, 90% of your posts are you complaining about identity politics in the show and somehow I'm the snowflake

Tell me when you have something actually substantive to say about the show

Not to hijack, but I loved the line when they were saying it was hard to believe walkers could talk, and Eugene said something to the effect "would you have believed in zombies"?

Sure it's a zombie show and you have to suspend disbelief quite a bit. That's understood. However, in order to relate to characters in any show there have to be some rules that are followed and that make sense in the actual world we live in. For example, if the characters started flying around like Superman or shot laser beams out of their eyeballs it would be unbelievable, even in a world where the viewer is suspending disbelief.

A post apocalyptic world where 6 year old girls are behaving like John Rambo is just a bit much and they try way to hard to make women into badasses. I don't know which character is more ridiculous, Carol or the little girl. None of this matters, anymore, because the show doesn't have any interesting characters left.

I still think they should quit worrying about the comics and put Daryl back on the road.

We used to joke about them all walking so much, but those were probably the best episodes.

Sorry. That wasn't intentional. But FWIW, I'm not even fully aware of what that means. It's just based on other people's posts in past threads. I really have no idea if she dies sooner or later or never. Without Rick and Carl, not even comic people are 100% sure what will happen.

You know that her mom is the leader of the new group, so I doubt you were expecting her to die soon.

She’s not 6 she’s like 9, but carry on.

So 9 year old little girls are that much bigger badasses than 6 year old ones? OK.

Not anymore.

It's "Walking Disney" .

It's Dawson's Creek with the occasional dead thing walking around

Agree

I don't mind the Carol and Julia stuff. I'm more irritated by the small things.

Negan goes into an abandoned store that has obviously been raided. Just so happens there is one leather jacket just his size on the rack. Stupid.

I haven’t finished the episode yet. Watched a little more than half last night. It was okay, but not great and definitely slacking for a midseason premiere IMO.

I did want to turn it off after the first few minutes when Judith pulled the gun on Negan and then let him go. I swear they have her on the show solely to replace the idiotic shite that Carl used to pull. That was completely stupid for her to do that. And I’m sorry, but this seven year old girl weilding a .357 is just laughable at this point. If anybody has ever shot one they know how hilarious that is and looks. There are many guns that would fit her and be more believable (and smarter), but nah. And I don’t know if it’s just me but every single line she speaks makes me roll my eyes. I don’t know if they are doing that on purpose or not, but it is annoying.

I did kinda dig the flashback locations tour with Negan though.

I need to finish the episode but last night I found myself just not invested in the show like I used to be. Not even sure why, that’s just how I felt. And people can complain about those who bitch about the “girl power” angle, but there is definitely some merit in that bitching, and it takes away from the show. Drastically, IMO.

The fact that Tara is still around and is now in a position of power is sad.

She should have never woken from the coma eugene carried her back home from. Her arc was complete there.

Her purpose was to get Glenn and Maggie back together, and be eugene's friend..thus pushing his character in a more interesting direction. Her peacefully passing in her sleep with her friends there would have been fitting.

Yeah and looks like she'll be here a while longer too.

Anyway the first four minutes of episode 10 is out and looks like we're getting some Alpha and Lydia backstory. Didn't have it in the comics so should be interesting.
