In 10 years when the next batch of star wars films is coming out, nobody will ever give a damn about Finn or Poe or Ray or any of the other dishwater "characters" from the recent trilogy.
The prequels were better than these Disney abortions. The pequels were a bizarre mess, but had their own entertaining vibe and character, even if it was tarded up. These new movies are listless and dull and stupid in a purely non entertaining way

He wasn't trying to hide the similarities. TFA did what it intended and set out to do, before RJ ruined Star Wars. Which is why TLJ stung so much. If this is really a big complaint you should watch this:

He’d be great as well. I still can’t believe the hyperdrive weaponry made it off of the cutting room. Anyone with any remote understanding of Star Wars or plot structure in general. I think Rian is actually skilled at directing, but he needs a good producer to rein him in and to have no creative control whatsoever. Seriously, don’t even have him in the editting room and just have a good producer oversee the editting.

It ruined A New Hope, Return of the Jedi, the Phantom Menace, The Force Awakens, and Rogue One, ie basically all of Star Wars. Your denial doesn’t change that, and thus I’m not going to stop it.

Kenner and Lucas did a good job selling the aliens. Disney and Hasbro still haven't caught on to that.

9 needs to be two parts.
A good director can correct a lot of the wrongs in short order. Geeks will give Jj a long leash to do that.
I just want a good story. Forget the light speed goof, feminists, stupid jokes and Rey sliding into Kylos force DMs, it was simply a bad movie. No character arch’s no feeling no suspense , just bad writing.

Why didn't they take down the Death Stars with it.... And hell, why are the Death Stars necessary with hyperdrive weaponry? It renders it pointless. Even with Episode I, just get a meteor the size of a golf cart, attach a hyperdrive to it, and then tad dah the plot is over when it hits the droid control ship.

For as much of the Universe that the Huts have money in, or ties to, you would think we would see more of the huts. Instead jaba was the only one.
I liked Rogue one, told the story of how it all started with PL and the death star.
I thought Solo was not good, not at all.
last 2 star wars movies were meh.

The Death Star kills planets. They already showed what happens when the same thing is tried against a planet.

The Raddus was a bit bigger than a golf cart.
