Statistically, the people who drive extremely slow in a 75mph zone are more dangerous than the speeders.
FIFY
Expect downvotes for defending speeders. There are a lot of baws in here who like to drive slow in the left lane with their arms hanging out the window.

In Desoto Parish, you get 10 days in jail if you are speeding 100+ mph.

Had to be the EcoBoost Fx2 with the 3.15 axle.
It’s what I have and at 95 mph I’m barely at 2000 rpm.

Computer had to have been reflashed. No way will it go 150 from the factory as they put speed limiters on most everything.
In other words, Ford doesn't put 150+MPH rated tires on F150's so they put a speed limiter in the computer.

Yeah, I think they shut down at 120-125mph

The cops are lucky those people pulled over for them.

I mean it is right there in the name.

Why would they stop? That car was probably 2 counties away before the cop could even turn on his lights.
This is true, but it's hard to outrun the radio.

Probably didn't even know they'd been radared. The cops were waiting for them a county or two over.

How do you make a crotch rocket doing 150+ stop without harming them?

The F150 was obviously modified and fairly heavily at that given they are huge bricks and way too much air runs under them. A stock Raptor will run about 135.

Well they certainly didn't chase them down unless the perps slowed on their own.
Caprice PPV was the fastest squad car it seems and it topped out at 155mph. In the time it would take to get to terminal velocity the guy would be long gone.

I flew out to Dallas to buy a v12 750il years ago. I got it up to 156 before I got scared of it and let off the gas.

Unless it was modified you were at terminal velocity. The 750iL was built when all German sedans were limited to 155mph by a gentleman's agreement. Delimited with the stock hp it may have had 5 more mph in her.

I bet there are more than a few posters here who have been passed by a bike doing at least 120. Tollway at night can be quite a race track.
Best though was back in maybe 1998, me and a friend were on 75 in Richardson/Plano. Traffic was flowing well. We were doing around 65 or so and he says "you won'tbelieve this shite"... A bike passes us doing probably 80 or so, not all that fast. But on a wheelie. And he just kept it up. We sped up and he rode that damn thing for at least another 3/4 mile. It was bizarre.
