I searched my profile and found it with all pertinent info.

BIrthdate
Net worth
Addresses
Phone numbers

all legit....

however, my profile pic was some other guy along with jobs in charlotte that I have never had. Along with other phone numbers.

I know the site is a scam, but what are the chances someone has taken my info and is using my credit.

I also now get some bullshite invoices from Apple.

So, what to do?

Probably nothing to worry about, but run a credit report if you are concerned.

My info there is inaccurate, but there's no info from another person included with mine.

You might have some ID thievery going on.

I'm apparently Hispanic and make under a 1/4 of what I actually make according to that site. I don't know any of the people it claims I know.

Most of that stuff is pretty public record or gathered from Facebook. I checked the facebook profile of the other person I know with my name and it's their Facebook friends that came up as my friends.

Check the email address this is coming from. Probably has nothing to do with this other person and everything to do with a phishing scam.

Also, mylife is just a site the piles all of your public information into one site. If there is a person with the same name as you, it could possibly get put onto the mylife information.

All the info on me could have easily been obtained through tax documents. It's mostly wrong though.

Has me as single but my wife is a relative lol

there are 28,000 people with my name.

There are from 50k to 100k each of joe Jones, bill Williams, et cetera.

What a mess. There was another face and data on my dating site profile. Some guy from Oklahoma.

I made another handle.

yet just another site, like spokeo, that just catalogs information from facebook, and a ton of other public sites where you have put information in.

I have the highest reputation score in my family

Some of that info is true but much of it is already public record.

So. I ran myself because I was curious.

This site is bogus. Says I have a criminal record. I have never been arrested for anything. I've never had handcuffs put on me. I've never spent a night in jail.

Man that's creepy.

Mine is a mix of correct up-to-date information, outdated information, and flat out wrong information.

Interestingly it lists me as "Christian" when I've never considered myself a Christian since I was very young, nor have I listed myself anywhere as Christian ever.

The most fricked up thing though is that it says my "Views & Opinions" are "Marijuana Reform" and "Tax Issues" which yes, are both things I care about as a libertarian.... I don't want people thinking I'm a pothead because I'm not. And now I feel like the internet is inside of my head because this site knew that I care about those things.

At least I have a 4.5/5 rating

No, I didn't. I just put my name in and clicked "this is me" and that info was included in the general info

Weird. I didn’t know this existed. It knows my immediate family members, but thinks my parents’ dead neighbor is also one.

It says I’m married and a Christian. Gross.

I make between 90 dollars and $99k a year. I suppose that’s accurate

This is a site that is just scraping social media and other data sources to put together a profile of information on thats already publicly available

Did you notice they want to you sign up and pay to “hide” your profile? I think you can figure out the motivation of these type of sites

They actually benefit from their data being inaccurate because then it makes users want to pay to remove it even more. It's just supposed to scare old people into paying to "take their information down"

I doubt anyone who actually matters would use a site like that to make decisions.

They think I'm Asian, an OT baller, and a registered Republican. Facebook thinks I'm black. Another site thinks I was once president of a Nashville software company.

That's not such a bad thing since none of that would be potentially damaging, and it's good for privacy if you have enough junk information mudding the waters that the data miners are useless.
