i wonder if ole boy Goins is deleting any mention of this from his FB group. That or he is saying it is a pack of lies and only his facts are facts because he says they are facts.

I can't believe they even acknowledged the FFL. They are nothing more than a Facebook group right now. Must be hurting membership numbers or donations.

I'll tell you one thing...this is going to make the Public Meetings later this month even more interesting. Probably turn them into shite shows. I planned to go to the Lafayette meeting, but with this now...not sure I even care to witness that nonsense in person.

I just renewed my DU membership that way I can officially “be against fair hunting.” And I will look sweeeeet in my free jacket at the meeting.

I think the best part of it is what DU put on Facebook. they purposely capitalized the letter F in “Flying Fiction” to say shove it retards.

Ol' Andrea is getting paid well to write all that bull shite.

Recurring theme: DU is not "directly" involved with doing any of these things we just listed. We just get money from the government and pay the "private landowners" to do it and our hands are clean.

I think the ol boys at DU may have a little fight on their hands.

DU is losing members and influence to the FFL and this isn’t really debated so DU is forced to go on the defensive.

Lower duck licenses sold Coupled with the FFL is hurting DUs fundraising and membership numbers. DU is grappling with the same problem that the CCA is burdened with.

Has anyone in this thread actually read what DU put out?

It makes way more sense than anything ole Goins has said.

Here's my take on this. I don't support DU because they mainly do a lot of projects on private lands that benefit people with larger pockets. I understand they participate with LDWf to help create greentrees in the local WMAs. However, that doesn't benefit public land hunters as far as duck numbers go, it just provides more areas for them to hunt. Which I appreciate. DU can say what they want about harvest rate and stats, but as a whole duck numbers in Louisiana have declined since the start of DU.

I read the article they released, and they indirectly said that they rather waterfowl not migrate south because it guarantees them better success rate with nesting. Which I understand,yu have to have new birds born each year to continue hunting, but I don't spend my money every year on equipment to grow ducks, but rather on equipment to kill ducks.

I get that FF may be full of crap. But, can anyone tell me how DU is benefiting LA? They sound way too political to me and beholden to the North. Why should anyone in LA support them.

Honest question.
