I have a thing for Middle Eastern women but that doesn't mean I have a fetish for them. I'm simply more attracted to women with olive skin and darker hair.
This girl is crazy and if the guy had any sense, he'd break up with her after reading the article. But he's probably a soy boy and okay with her complicated and borderline prejudice insecurities.

His friends have to be pressuring him to break up with her after this article. If they’re not, then he has no real friends.

Her fear is that if he's only interested because she's Asian (and the guy gives some pretty solid assurances to be honest) she's likely to be abandoned in favor of one of the many more attractive options available in area where they are plentiful. She's middle of the pack out there I'm sure. Overall, this feels like a long way to go for an engagement brag.
