LSU coach Ed Orgeron to receive contract extension

LSU head football coach Ed Orgeron will receive a contract extension, a LSU senior official confirmed to NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune on Wednesday afternoon.
The official said the details of the contract extension are being finalized.
Orgeron led LSU to a 10-3 record in 2018, the best record for the Tigers since the 2013 season.

if it's not a 1-year extension with none of that money being guaranteed (aka, a "lower buyout") then it makes no sense

yeah and it can be solved with no risk. get a symbolic extension that isn't guaranteed. if this is the case, great
