I love Steins and I love the fact that he does a good job of providing us a representation of sandwich offerings that you can't typically find here at such quality as he offers them.
However, I'm hard pressed to think of anything they offer that would notably stand out compared to other locales that might offer the same thing.
What did you have in mind of what might be so noteworthy from there?

The Sam. According to my tastebuds it’s the best sandwich in the city
I understand a poboy and muff are local to Nola, but they don’t compare from a taste perspective to me

Always wanted to try Primanti Bros, The Fat Darrell, and the Chicken Biscuit near UNC campus.

They all look good. I’d put that collard green Reuben at Turkey and the Wolf over the fried bologna. Don’t eat it the night before a flight though... I learned the hard way on that.

Central Grocery
Turkey and Wolf
Bevi Seafood
And how does something like this make a best of list?

You could use this statement and apply it to the bologna sandwich. It's really a Memphis BBQ thing.
Payne's-Memphis, Tn.

Bet that Cuban in Tampa is good.

Primanti Bros is a tad bland (could use a little pepper and some garlic salt), but damn is it good.

I recentyl Tried the Sam at steins
A good sandwich is like an angry ghost, it haunts you.
The Sam haunts you.
But I still love a good RB PoBoy.
Differently
I’m a big sandwich guy

I guess they missed my BLT.
They stole the bologna sandwich from me.
Cuban?
And then my sliders. Their list is useless

Where is that?
It’s a misleading title
It’s realy like the best of 40 different sandwiches.

You will probably be disappointed with Primanti Brothers. Not very good.
Posted on 1/29/19 at 1:24 pm to SammyTiger
They serve them at the NASCAR races in Talladega, AL.

I worked a booth for charity that made them. I think I ate 42-47 of them.

Yeah, I found it to be a tourist trap. Didn't think it was anything special, and as you stated, "bland".
