Holy shite.

This is a bold arse move.

Ended the war in Afghanistan and knee capped Maduro all in one day.

Not a bad day Mr President.

People who support gun control need to look at Venezuela.

The country is in ruins, a despot has illegal seized power and despite 75%-80% of the country being against him, he's still in power because marching in the street and shouting accomplishes NOTHING if the governemtn has all the weapons and the people have none.

If the people were armed, this never would have happened.

Explain to me how a gun could have stopped an electronic transfer of wealth?

Taking away a dictators money is a sure fire way to provoke the dictator.

That is pretty cool but I wonder just what is the logistics of that action??? How do you know who is getting what? Does Guaido have another checking account or something??

LSURussian is the guy to opine on this.

How refreshing. More regime change by the US. I'm sure it's gonna work this time just like socialism will work this time.

Not yet. There's going to be more blood.

The whole thing will knee-cap the socialist in Congress and the MSM - parading Venezuela around as a model for the Utopian dream.

Swing and a miss.

A gun (or a lot of them) could have made it to where a third party government never needed to institute an electronic transfer of wealth.

That is not exactly what that link says. It says the US plans to seize the assets but how can they give it to Guaido??

I think they mean just to seize and sit on the assets.

ultimately divert it to his opposition

How will Guaido get the money???? Will he just keep it?

This is really interesting. Who will the banks recognize?

Guns are absolutely useless against technology. This line of thinking is asinine. Guns don't do a thing to stop (or enable) anything like this.

They're pretty useful against humans, though.
