Trump is a hammer. He’s good at being a hammer. A hammer is a good tool. Sometimes you need a hammer. But sometimes you need a wrench.

I find it funny that people on here say he is playing 4d chess. He’s barely playing checkers and is incredibly reactionary. He needs to read the Art of War and figure out his own weaknesses before making a move. The tariff moves were actually good because he could control them and had a endgame. The shutdown was/is a sh!tshow because he’s not in the position of power with an equal branch of government.

He should have made his priority stopping human trafficking, with portions of the wall the outcome, not as the overall goal. He let someone else frame the issue.

Yeah you are wrong too. Despite the left and MSM characterizations there is a lot of positive data due to Trump policies.

This is such an ignorant comment. The guy has 100s if not 1000s of businesses. If only 3 or 4 declare bk that’s actually an amazing record. And bk means different things. It does not mean the business goes away necessarily. In Donald’s cases it meant restructuring debt to creditors.

Do you know how any of this works?

Pay attention, Jethro. I loathe Trump, and I say so several times per week.

That has nothing to do with center-right libertarian ideology. Trump has no ideology beyond Trump.

You loathe Trump and you adhere to labeling his supporters as smelly deplorable rednecks that shop at Walmart.

If the poster is Jethro, who are you, Jed?

Really? Care to back that assertion up? Because he has governed more conservatively than any president since Kennedy, they killed him for it though.

I guess Bloomberg knows less than you do.

Yes, Roadkill, I understand completely. The low IQ brigade (Left or Right) is too-threatened to even consider competing viewpoints ... or even slight tangents from their own viewpoints.

Result? About 75% of posters downvote perceived “libs,” without even bothering to read the post.

I don’t GAF. The remaining 25% provide worthwhile discussion. Wanna guess which group you are in?

How I know you're dumb and only repeat what you read and hear from the MSM.

Trump has over 400 businesses and yes, four have gone bankrupt - that's a 99% winning record when the average is closer to 50%.

The entire post has a good analysis, but I especially agree with this paragraph.

Overall, I think Trump is an idiot, while simultaneously being a true genius at marketing. His success at marketing himself and his projects gave him the leverage to bully his way through the business world.

He lacks much of the same leverage as POTUS, which deprives him of the ability to effectively utilize his preferred, heavy-handed negotiating strategy.

I guess the OP is suggesting there would have been a stronger president for conservatives this go around? I’ll just sit back and laugh.... What an idiot...
