Serious stuff here, the world has figured out Trump’s weakness in negotiations

Trump’s primary negotiation tactic is to be the wild man. He threatens hell fire and pain on his negotiating opponents and acts irrationally. He expects them to fear the consequences of not capitulating. This strategy is openly celebrated here. We’ve watched it unfold in real time. Trump wants his opponents to “bend the knee” or face the consequences.
The Canadians, followed by the Chinese, figured out how to counter negotiate with Trump. You tell him “No” and ignore his bluster. In the end Trump will eventually lose ground and his opponents will be in a better position overall.
The Democrats have also clearly figured this out. Nancy Pelosi demonstrated very starkly that when Trump tries to bluster and bully his way through a dispute, keep telling him “No” and eventually he will fold.
The problem here is that we have Trump for two more years. He’s already fired the top diplomats and negotiators, the professionals who can actually operate effectively on the world stage. He’s made a complete mess of trade policy and diplomatic relations. The entire world will be telling him No from now on. We need a real reset or we will fall sharply.

Canada? They bent the knee on the origin of products to join the USMC.
China? We are making progress. Things come together March 1.
NATO? More NATO nations are paying more as the agreement stipulates.
Syria? Decimated ISIS to the point where we are considering leaving.
You ever wonder why the price of gas is so cheap at the pump? Yea, a large part of that are Trumps policies.
Pelosi? Pelosi figured out Donald has a soft spot. Using DACA people in negotiations has no leverage because he would never up root them and send them back.
ETA: Maduro just bent the knee last night.

The IP is exactly correct. Trump can be a bully in real estate - you can jump in or jump out.
Remember he also went bankrupt 3 maybe 4 times. Can’t bail on the US when you come up a loser. He has no clue how to to negotiate in government. Un and Xi and Putin

He can’t get played any worse than the last president and the politicians the last 2 decades. That is for damn sure
