I’ve never gone to an LSU athletic event and thought “man this would have been a swell time if my hot dog was a little better”.

I largely agree with you, but at the same time I get where others are coming from.

Occassionally, nothing beats grabbing a hot dog or nachos at a ballgame, and if someone is willing to overpay for concessions on top of their ticket, I don't begrudge them for wanting the food to be relatively decent.

I'll tell you what rat, you are a piece of work. This team is ranked No. 1 in the nation and all you are concerned about is stuffing your face at the concession stand. On top of that you haven't been around for a couple of years to sample the goodies. I'll be surprised if you get five responses to your question. My suggestion is, if you ever go back to the Box, watch the game. It's always better than the food! Get a life.

Give me some fake cheese nachos with a buttload of jalapeños and I’m good. I don’t want to spend 20$ for a meal that I know was precooked and going to suck, be different if they had a grill/restaurant that cooked to order, which they could do in the outfield. Have a premium pay restaurant with outfield deck seating/beer garden and a concession that will fry food/grill to order. Otherwise give my me cheap arse Nachos

LSU built the New Box right before SEC programs started overhauling their stadiums and building new palaces. LSU was first and everyone after that made theirs nicer and better.

This is the 11th season at the New Box. It could use some renovations.

Usually eat before going to the game. Solves the bad food served at the box. As for the box, it's average at best. Better stadiums around without the success or resources of the LSU baseball program. But it has nothing to do with going to the game or not! I don't go for the stadium, I go for the game!

Decent wuestion.

I mean how hard is it for people in food industry to offer and provide good product?

I don’t mind paying for it... I do mind paying for shite.
What’s wrong with desiring quality?

I guess it's because I grew up when the only concessions were hotdogs, peanuts, popcorn and soft drinks. You didn't go expecting to find fantastic food.

Good for you grandpa. Meanwhile in the real world over the past 10-15 years lots of places have figured out ways to have good food to be sold at sporting events. It sucks that our administration hasn't realized this yet.

I agree with this you got to have a mixer to go with your gameday bourbon.

You had better not be talking of Chris "Leatherlung" Guillot. He is a staple of the progrum and has done more for the purple and gold then any LSU starting pitcher. Including Lane Mestapay.
