Not everyone with an anoxic brain injury is on life support. They can exist for many many years. Personally, if I were in that state, I would rather be euthanized.

I work with many anoxic brain injury patients, sex is the last thing you think about when seeing these people..

People are fricking stupid when it comes to this. A guy I work with just went through this with his family. His wife's cousin was brain dead in a coma for 5 months. The doctors told the husband she would never wake up and he refused to pull the plug. She was basically a blob of meat and he kept her alive for what?
I tell my people if I don't wake up in 72 hours, pull that plug.
