Just imagine walking around like any normal day into the vegetative lady's room and a baby popping out of her vagina as you check her vitals

What happened to the baby? Can you imagine growing up with the realization about how you came to exist, dad is a neanderthal looking rapist, you'll never have a normal mom. frick.

Male nurse... which is a weirdo job anyways

You would think that with all of the gender neutral job titles that have been created since women have branched out in the workforce, that nurse would have been changed too.

There was no prenatal care. The mother had been on seizure meds the entire time. And...NOT in a coma. Media keeps missing basic facts on this case.

I find it very hard to believe that this baby will be “normal”. I would imagine the child will have some sort of health issues.

They also suspended one doctor that cared for her and another just resigned. I still do not know how staff didn’t know she was pregnant.

The ole boy could’ve gotten away with it if he had the sense to wrap up! No telling how many times he assaulted her!

Seriously. Why would you not pull the plug by now? She won’t come out of her state. And what if she did? She’s a 3 year old in a 29 year old’s body. She would never live a normal life

So we're marking you down as 1 vote in favor of very very very very late term abortion.

These are the type of people who would now come out of the woodwork if someone tries to remove her feeding tube( I assume she's fed artificially?)

Reminds me of Terri Shiavo and the Right wing politicians & pro life/ Christian activists who supported keeping her feeding tubes in. The Schiavo case tied up in court for over a decade & even Presodent GW Bush got involved .

Yep and I’m one of em. I work 12 days a month. How many you work?

Really? Is that really what you want to brag about? How little you work?

I drove by some homeless people earlier that work 0 days a month. So jealous.

I’m sure that rigorous work schedule also yields a very impressive paycheck too.

Google the name and a pic appears with the story. He's an obese black guy with a lazy eye like Forrest Whitaker, except it's the opposite eye.

You all have my permission to pull the plug WAY before 26 years have passed.

If I recall correctly, this person is not on life support in terms of a breathing machine. The only thing being provided is food. Changes the situation drastically IMO.

My wife's daughter works Sat and Sun only, 8 days a month as a RN for $85K a year, very common schedule and pay.

Most nurses that work in patient care areas in hospitals work 3 12 hour shifts a week. So 12 days a month. It’s considered full time by HR with full benefits. As for pay...depending on what part of the country you live and what shift you work ....you can easily make over 80k working 12 days a month.

The title "nurse" is and has always been gender neutral. Just as is doctor. I think we associate a doctor as a male and a nurse as a female in our heads.
