Ish may have just held out too long?
Is the reward worth 2 Spots, and I'm not sure it is?

Your hypothetical player isn't worth 2 scholarships no matter how many arbitrary stars are next to his name.

Ish has the talent to be the difference maker like Lavalais was. Not sure he will be motivated enough.

I want players that actually WANT to be at LSU and play at LSU.
If that’s Ish and Rodney (and I hope it is) then great, but when a recruit starts laying out stipulations like that, it’s a weird sign. LF7 was worth it but is Ish on that same level of talent?

Is he in state?
Is your most hated rival getting a foothold in the area?
Is he at a position of NEED?
Have you met your OTHER needs?

Guys, I get it that some of us don't like the deal, but it's time to accept it that it WILL happen if the opportunity presents itself, and right now it's looking likely.

It seems the message board consensus is that Rodney is subpar and his scholarship is basically thrown away to get Ish. Pardon my ignorance, but how does everyone know? I haven't read any kind of scouting report on the guy.

Thank you for the info, as always! With 6 spots available, LSU could get the 3 from Amite, Parker, Hampton, and still get a MS DL or Fuller from FL.

Yep, the whole “have to win over Amite” thing has already been debunked. They have had 3 P5 players over the last how many years? They have maybe 1 in the next 2 years that will get P5 looks as of now.
