And the current class represents the last bit of talent from that cycle. A cycle of talent that generated three players worthy of offers.

That's not loaded. That's a down cycle for some schools, but it's the best that town will ever do. That's why there is no use in trying to "lock down" some shithook town in the middle of nowhere. They don't produce enough talent year over year to make it worth it. Amite won't have another big time player for probably 5 or 6 years, if that soon.
