Football season BEEN over so guys just gonna be here talking about football the entire 8-9 months of the off-season? The topic is tired.

What’s tired is people making threads saying no one is talking about basketball.

Let them revel in their delusions, we have a team that can actually win something with this group Wade has put together and they hate that.

Baseball is the only sport that can dominate football talk on this board IMO. And barely.
I'm excited about basketball, but it still has a lot to prove.

The phrase you’re looking for is cautious optimism.

If we are 13-3 after tonights game they will!
I think we can win tonight. Should be fun!

Will "GOAT" Wade
If you look back to what this team was at the end of Jones' tenure here to now, it's pretty amazing what he's done this early into his 2nd season.
When people bitch about certain things this team/Wade does, I'm not saying they're wrong, but most of those concerns would be more understandable if he was in year 3 or 4. This team is very young and to turn this team around in year 1 & 2 like he's done is pretty damn impressive.

Your perception and the reality of things are far apart. Football will never be a "tired" topic on the Rant. I think that basketball will get a lot more attention here when they actually ACCOMPLISH something over the course of a whole season.

They are all waiting till we lose the next game so that can come post their new dumb hot take even though they've watched 5 min of CBB in the last 5 years.

What does this have to do with Bama blowing the national championship?

They have a game tonight? This is the type of info we need to know.

I'm a big basketball fan and am still excited, but the losses to Florida State, Okie State, and Houston were deflating. Those were our 3 biggest OOC games, and we blew it.
Now, I'm very happy with the two SEC wins (especially Arky on the road), and if we can manage to pull off another road win tonight at Ole Miss, enthusiasm will pick up again.
But those OOC losses took a bit of the wind out of our sails. But of course we still have a chance to achieve all of our goals. The biggest stretch will be back-to-back games with Auburn and Kentucky.

Because it’s basketball.
