I'm a big fan of the following series:

- Game of Thrones
- The Wire
- Making a Murderer
- Peaky Blinders
- Breaking Bad

I'm looking for something along the same lines. Any suggestions are appreciated.

New as in recently released or new as in a show you haven’t seen?

Robin Hood aka Robin of Sherwood

I just found out this is on Prime, loved back in the day.
Haven't re-watched yet to see if it holds up. It has an 8.5 on IMDB.

quote:

Storyline

Robin of Loxley is chosen by the mystical Herne the Hunter to become his 'son' and champion the oppressed. Gathering a band of comrades around him he fights a guerilla campaign against their Norman dictators, particularly the Sheriff of Nottingham and his deputy, Guy de Gisburne. Later he is succeeded by Robert of Huntingdon, renegade nobleman. This retelling of the legend introduces a strong fantasy element, with black magic and the old religion.

Bosch (Prime)
The Last Kingdom (Netflix)

ETA: If you are a big fan of the Wire, then you must watch Bosch. It is basically a Wire reunion show.
