One such player is Orlando Magic small forward swingman Terrence Ross, Deveney reported, adding that Ross will be a free agent this summer and “uncertain to re-sign with the Magic.” Right now, that Pelicans’ first-rounder would fall into the late lottery, as they currently do not have one of the top eight records in the Western Conference.

The Pelicans have also been linked to Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love, though they have not made contact with the Cavs, sources told Amico Hoops.

How are you linked to a player, even though you haven't contacted the team??

I love the BS this time of year

Terrance Ross would be a great addition, but not giving up a 1st for him that's for sure.
I said it after the Wesley Johnson trade that they should flip Wesley and a second for Ross.

Hopefully this Love talk is just idiot talk and no one from the Pels has any interest. We don't need the big trade we need to make to be for a big man. It needs to be for a wing. No team is going to win anything paying their 4 $35M/yr and their "5" stretch 4 $25M/yr. You pay big money to one front court player, and the rest of your big money belongs on the wing.

Pels moving a 1st, water is wet.

But Amico is notoriously full of shite. He knows nothing whatsoever.

wtf.

The fact that this guy is dumb enough to post this should eliminate him as any kind of insider.

I know our picks are always outside the lottery but man I hate dealing away our picks. Leaves nothing to look forward to.

Love isn’t even sure if he will playijg this season due to “injury” aka draft concerns.
