Dude every time I hunt the basin I see 2 or 3 dead balloons. Rarely see them anywhere else.

Not me but one time pulled to the camp An my uncle who was always cutting up was standing on the camp porch with a strap on over his thermals!!! Said he was sitting on his ladder stand and as the sun came up the rays shining down through the trees was hitting it as it was poking up through the leaves. I told him he was crazy for touching it he said “ it’s been there a long time plus ol boy wouldn’t put it in anything worse than I have”!!!

Found a Confederate cemetery in Kisatchie once. I don't go back to that spot.

First place I lived in when I moved to Lafayette had a pretty large wooded area behind it. Probably about 20 acres best guess. I was exploring one day and found a bum camp site about 40-50 yards in directly behind my house. Fire was out but still smoldering. Sleeping bags and empty spam cans all over the place. Next day it was gone. About a week later I smelled a camp fire and called the police. Same thing, smoldering camp fire, sleeping bags, empty food cans, but no people. Then about a month later it happened again. I was thoroughly freaked out. Never found anybody there. I don’t know if someone was just messing with me or not. I was only renting, so as soon as my lease was up I moved.

used to make a woodie swat or two a year at a place off pearl river navigation canal until one day when we paddled back to launch and there were a slew of federal LEO guys at launch apparently that am someone found a floater - that had been skinned..loved that spot - never ever went back...

It wasn’t really scary but it was a little bit weird but funny at the same time. A buddy and I found an abandoned house while we were hunting and we were in it looking at all the stuff left behind and we found an old green skoal can. We opened it up and there was that metal wire with the fuzz on it, and it was in the shape of a human with a penis. There was a hole on the other side of the can and if you moved it up and down it would move the hand on the penis like it was jerking off. It was definitely weird but we had a good laugh about it
