I’m jealous. I actually pulled my bean plants and sowed more cucumbers. They were 10 feet tall and had thousands of flowers. But after almost 2 months, not a single bean. This is the first time I’ve encountered this and I’m not sure what the problem was.

That sucks! Aside from the tomatoes(of course) the green beans are what I'm really looking forward to enjoying. Got hundreds of little green beans here. I'll try to get some pictures later.

Every now and then I’d see a few small beans start to form. But they’d just fall off. Everything I’ve read makes me more confused. “Too much fertilizer, not enough fertilizer, too much water, not enough water, etc...”

I’ll try again next season.

I've never had luck with pole beans.

I switched to bush beans a few years ago and a 24 foot row gives me bags of beans each year.

Just got my first picking off my beans. I have what amounts to about 16 feet of beans, and got almost a pound picked.

Also had my first zucc (will probably have a few more and squash before long) and romas. Eggplants keep flowering, but nothing yet. Cucumbers and okra are slowly but surely coming along.

Dug my potatoes up today. One 30 foot row. Didn’t have near as much as years past, but the ones I did have were huge. Yukon gold.

Usually one 30 foot row gives me about a half to 3/4 of a wheelbarrow full, but this year I didn’t even hit half full. Lots of rotten ones in the ground from all this damned rain.

Some okra I picked this morning.....

Tiny green beans....... These are the Kentucky Wonder variety.

Next green beans I plant will be the Roma II(Romano Bush) beans.

Hell at least your beans sprouted. I tried sowing twice, no dice. No issues last year though.

Snow peas have gone nuts this year, total duds last year.

Got some Sea Island Red Peas I'm going to grow in place of the beans.

My yard long green beans already have two foot beans on them! My tomatoes are wilting and look like crap. But they have tomatoes on them. Whatever.

Yep. Same here.

Everything else is doing great. Picked today (except for the one ripe tomato. That was from a couple days ago):

I should have vine ripened heirlooms over the next couple days. I’ve been picking off my celebrity plant and cherries this past week. I have some ripe peppers as well but I’m gonna wait til tomorrow or the next day to start picking. I planted 4 okra yesterday too.

My beans, peppers, and tomatoes are doing fine. However my cucumbers are taking their sweet arse time. Never gone this long without picking one.

My tomatoes caught some Herbicide drift from crop dusters I’m hoping they make it. They don’t look too bad now just some yellow spots but I’m thinking they’re going to get worse

My cucumbers finally got going. I picked one this morning and have 20 or so more on the plants.

Septoria on some of my lower tomato leaves. This is basically black spots. Research tells me its because of the leaves not drying, eventually breeding fungus. Supposedly only harms leaves and not fruit.

I have tried to trim off the small areas.

What's a way to treat? Or is it also soil based?

I read that these should be picked around 12-18" long for best flavor and texture. I have one row that has grown like crazy but another row that seems to be struggling. They were planted about a week apart. I am wondering if the newer beans are struggling with all this rain.

It is soil-borne. I've been battling it like crazy this year. Liquid Copper or Daconil should slow it down. Definitely prune off as many infected leaves that you can.

I've been spraying diluted peroxide and liquid copper to try to control it. Sometimes I feel like I'm getting ahead of it and my tomato plants start looking good. Then all of a sudden it rears it's ugly head again. I plan on overhauling my soil at the end of the growing season.

Good luck.

Picking a few tomatoes, bell peppers, and cucumbers every day now. Things seem to be rolling along, but I think the tomatoes are about done setting new fruit with these highs in the mid 90s. Still have a lot of green ones growing but I can see them really starting to feel the heat. Cumcumbers like others said really turned it on in last week and a half, lots of vine and flowering but just really started making. Maybe the bees finally got their shite together.

I’ve picked 20 gallons of Blue Lake beans and they just keep rolling.

I also think my tomatoes are done setting. Heirlooms are starting to show a few sick looking leaves so I guess it’s about that time. I have a ton of green tomatoes on the vine though so it’s all good.

Cherries are still setting new fruit daily though.

Picked 10 cucumbers, 5 jimmy nardello, 5 Hungarian hot wax, a handful of cherry tomatoes, 2 celebrities, and 5 Cherokee purples today. I’m letting my peppers all turn. I haven’t picked anything green except for jalapeños.

Had to go out of town for work and forgot to tell a friend to water my toms in buckets. They were without water for 2 days and half the plants turned yellow. Water issue damn. My cuces are finally growing cucumbers. My habaneros, bell peppers, and cayenne peppers are blowing up. Garlic still going strong. My yellow onions died. I learned a lesson. I watered them too much. If anyone tries growing them they only need an inch of water a week
