This weather has been pure bullshite for growing a garden this year. We go from 50 degree nights to 90 during the day. Northwest Florida.

Agree. Hopefully my okra thrives and peppers continue to do well.

Cucumbers are still doing well. Just having to hand pollinate is annoying.

Anyone know why this plant looks so pitiful? (The brown around the leaves)

I know I probably wasted half my money, but after chickens and tree falling wiped me out I replanted today. Okra, cucumbers and peppers should do okay. But i doubt tomatoes will do much. Going to get some sweet potatoes in ground next week.

Potassium deficiency. Common in containers as it gets rinsed out.

Lol I have timers for my above ground beds. My buckets don’t have a drip irrigation set up on a timer but I’ll install one for my fall crops.

Same in South LA. My tomatoes have already slowed down because of the heat. This will be the shortest spring garden I've had. If you planted okra however they should be doing great.

Yep. The Cajun Jewel plants are really starting to take off.

Peppers are doing great, too.

My poor, sickly tomatoes

And my cucumber plants look good. Just not getting a high yield. I think it’s pretty much all from hand pollination. Don’t think I’m getting much help.

Wow! Your tomatoes look just like mine.

I am picking the yard long beans, blueberries, and some sweet onions. My butternut and spaghetti squash are finally starting to produce.

Hornworms went apeshit while I was out of town for the weekend. I got lazy cause haven't had many caterpillar issues this year, til now. For whatever reason they ignored my tomatoes and went straight for the peppers. Munched a few branches off my tabasco plant that can afford it, but absolutely mowed down my little jalapeno plant that was just starting to turn it around. Gonna get my revenge after work.

Looks like a crappy tomato season. Mine went to shite. My buddy had a good yield last year. This year he thinks he will get a 1/4 of what he got last year. His jalapeños aren’t doing well either.

My jalapenos are thriving, but tomatoes and cucumbers aren't doing much.

Tomatoes have done pretty well for me this year, we had a decent month or so of warm but not hot weather that let a good amount get pollinated. Fingers crossed but only lost one to disease. I've given up on getting any more fruit set though, and once these green tomatoes turn I'll put the plants.

Same. And I honestly don’t think that’ll be too much longer before that happens.

I may plant some more okra in their place after I pull them.

A week ago I would have said I'll be pulling them soon, but I'm noticing that as I pick larger tomatoes off some of the buds that looked like aborts are now growing. I'm gonna ride this train til it stops.

I'm not seeing much new growth at all. I may save some suckers and try to replant them in August.
