You do understand the term “e” is a different search from “em” but keep trying

Wow!
I was prepared to knock this down. Your pic shows a search for "hillary clinton e" and everyone else "john doe em".

Turns out it doesn't matter though.
Google performs exactly as you say it does.

Type anyone except for hillary's name followed by "em" and the search suggestions will yield name + email as a search suggestion. The only exception seems to be Hillary. Hers comes up "Hillary Clinton emoji" or "Hillary Clinton Emma Stone"

Unbelievable!

Typed in "Hillary Clinton e" on Google search and the first two articles were about her email scandal.

Seems like duck duck go is the right choice for you, if you're bothered by Google

It's great to have choices in the free market

It is pretty hilarious. I mean, there really is no other explanation other than Google actively rigged that one.

I mean frick. I typed in every member of my Family along with em and got "email" as an autofill.

I'm not sure you could fail to get email as the autofill.

Goolge search is parsing for context better than the other search engines.

When there is a novel phrase that has a more narrow expectation of results, it will autofill.

With a term like Hilary Clinton email without quotes, the content will be based on previous search history and news sources.

That is, there's not as much of a neutral response for that phrase so google wants the user to complete to show intent.

As more people type in the phrase and the engine recognizes what is useful info, it will begin to auto suggest.

This is more of a case of machine learning than some grand conspiracy.

I spend $3k / month to advertise my business on Google. I’m about to pull the plug. They make it so confusing on purpose.

I think it might be a waste of money

Interesting you got that result. I used my business phone, which isn't my normal phone, and I don't use auto fill on results.

I typed: Hillary Clinton e

This is the result:

Doesn't look filtered to me.

I get it. You want Google to advance your bullshite propaganda and conspiracies. Too bad for you.
