I guess the harm is the financial irresponsibility for some people. I don't know. I'm pretty apathetic about the whole thing.

Yeah, in a practical sense they’re a waste of money. But I could easily say that about a lot of the things in life we spend money on. Like paying for a new roof in order to get some sex. Probably could have had that sex for free.

I don’t begrudge anyone wanting a wedding. But I’d rather pluck my eyelashes than plan another. I’m getting married this month and don’t even know the date. My kind of wedding.
