Any suggestions besides for stuff along the lines of the district or the millennium? El Cid sadly is out of my price range.

I liked living at Indigo Park, but I also worked at a plant on 30. The pool area was legit and casina only a long walk away.

I lived for years at The Jefferson off Jefferson by Bocage. It's an older complex, but some units have been renovated because they are all personally owned. It's a great part of town, easy to get in and out or jump on the interstate. Less than a mile from towne center. There is no gym at it but it's directly next to a park with volleyball nets, a basketball court and just open field.

Perkins Rowe seems nice if $1500/month apartments are your thing.

I lived in Tuscany Villas for a year but I would not recommend. Their management is absolutely horrible and the apartments aren't that great either.

The Enclave on Corporate is pretty nice. They have 2 pools and plenty of talent during the summer.

There’s a small apartment complex on Perkins I used to live in. Older 2 bedroom apartment for 950 I think. Called Southdowns

You can literally walk across the street to the bulldog and Earls.

Again not the most up to date place, but I used to love that place

Anything north of Florida Blvd should be economical and give you that cultural flare you’re missing out on.

Honestly, if I became single, I’d go back to the garden district into a house. I lived on the parade route in a very cute house and loved it. It’s a blast to throw a party every year for the parade, and then the rest of the year you have the perk of being basically walking distance to the overpass and being in your own private home.

I had a fenced in yard, wrap around deck, and 2 bedrooms for $850.

I lived in the Jefferson for a year and loved it. The price is quite reasonable considering how spacious it is. Like another poster said, it's close to the interstate, good restaurants, and close to the bars that cater to the 25-35 age range.
