After further review, I noticed an interesting trend.. you were posting your arse off in the first half... then, after the blocked punt, you only posted sporadically

Why?? I don’t get it

If nothing else, Tigerdroppings is one giant psychology experiment.. or case study, if you will

I guess negativity does sell better than positivity.. weird

I actually made a point of putting down the phone and watched the game

But why? According to you, our defense is incredibly shitty and Drew Brees doesn’t meet your current height requirement for NFL QBs

I agree to an extent. I just think we may have been slightly spoiled, watching this team run through a gauntlet of a tough schedule, breezing by opponents in the process.

I would much rather watch this team struggle, and pull out resilient wins like yesterday, than watch a team that is just clearly over matched, and simply not good enough to beat some great teams on the schedule.

As for yesterday, I kind of anticipated that kind of game. Tampa always plays us tough. A sloppy divisional road game is always a test. Coming off one of the worst Saints games in recent memory, I thought this team might start slow, but find their stride and pull out a win by any means necessary.

These kind of games define your team. How do you respond when you get hit? How do you respond when you lose a little momentum/ confidence?
It wasnt pretty, but they got it done.

Its the NFL. Teams are gonna play great some weeks and not so great on others. Take the Bears for example- beat the rams last night, lose to the giants last week. I think alot of our fans think we should score 40 every week and if we dont then something is wrong. The last 3 weeks have been shaky at best on offense but the defense has stepped up big time especially in the second half of those games. We won 2 of those games. We lost one by 3 pts. Does that game go differently if we kick a fg early instead of going for the td? I think what alot of fans here lack is faith in their team. Some posts would make it seem like the Saints were quitting. A 10-2 team quitting(11-2 now) .....Drew Brees quitting.....think about that. That can get old at times especially when most of the fans understand the history of the franchise. My parents celebrated a 8 win season in the eighties because it was the first non losing one. It took even longer to win a playoff game. If the melts are justified then so are all of the stfu pussy replies from the fans with more faith in their team.

I find it weird that he makes some giant thread trying to justify his own melting on the board then gets super defensive when posters call him out for his continuous melting

That’s a good point. Championship teams have to show that they can win different types of games:

Playing from behind
Playing while ahead
Bad/cold weather
Losing a star player mid-game
Games where refs seem trigger happy
Etc
Etc

See, I’ll admit, there are some games that frustrate me to no end, and I feel like MY wheels are about to fall off. But typically, I don’t go public with it because of all of the reasons mentioned ITT....

However, IF I DID, I’d probably come back and say something like ‘hey, I completely overreacted yesterday. I’ll gladly eat my crow and take this dub with a smile on my face’

That’s all he had to do (if anything at all). But to make a mountain of a post, trying to justify his babybackbitchism, is just weird IMO.

And to be fair, it’s not just zombie in this category. There are a lot of other people who fit this criteria.. He just made it easy to target him

I mean I already said my wife came home and watched the game with me. Kind of gave up the electronics when she sat down and wanted to discuss the game and her shopping trip.

Very happy with the dub. No need to apologize for posting about a game. That’s silly.
