i do agree, but i use coupons and they are usually less than $8.

For most people id say id rather a fresh cooked one, but i do travel for work and before i leave i will go down the street and get one made with a salad and leave it in the fridge for the wife and kids to heat up when they get home. tastes better than leftovers.

Got my new mattress being delivered today, but not from the big box retailers. First new mattress in 20+ years.

Would you believe that the guy on the right is 20 years older than the guy on the left?

You must not have a family.

PM is fantastic. I bring the pizzas home from work and then after all 4 kids are finally home from their activities wife tells them to wash up and I toss the pizzas in the oven for 15 minutes and we all have a fresh, hot dinner.

Plus there's always a coupon to get the pizza for like $5 or $6.

Why would I want a nasty pizza that's been sitting in a cardboard box in the oven for an hour getting cold and stale while we get our shite together?

I remember when my town got one with a kid so we were all hyped up to try it

Go on a weekday night, wait 45 minutes for the pizza to be ready, then drive it home and wait another 30 for it to cook. And it was....okay.

Never did that again

Walmart has ready made pizzas that are similar

you're doing it wrong. it takes them no longer than subway takes to build a sandwich if you go in cold but who doesn't call it in ahead of time?

ETA pro-tip: they'll sell any pre-made pizza in the place for $3 if you go in right at 9pm. they always have 5-6 pizzas sitting there that no on picked up.

What really blows my mind is it is on our local restaurant delivery service app. So some people order a PM pizza....wait 45 min- 1 hour for a cold pizza they have to cook for 20 minutes.

Again this was like 10 years ago when they first got into my town, I’m not sure if we fully understood the concept

But it did take them a crazy amount of time to have the pizza ready

I actually had PM for the first time over Thanksgiving weekend. Went to visit a couple friends and they wanted to try it too.

Got 1 extra large and 1 large for $15. All 3 of us were impressed with the quality as compared to the major 3 chains (hut, dominos Papa Johns). We got the thinnest crusts and we liked how it came out. We got the brooklyn pepperoni/sausage and some chicken pizza with no tomato sauce (Mediterranean maybe?)

If you order 2 mediums from dominos you are paying $20+ with delivery even with their $5.99 deal.

All 3 of us said we would eat it again

I also find it comical how many people are acting like cooking the PM pizzas is some sort of chore. Turn the oven on and pop in the pizza, it's not terribly taxing or anything

I don't think I ever got it myself, but used to have it almost weekly visiting family and this one was delish:

quote:

CHICKEN GARLIC

Our Original Crust topped with Creamy Garlic Sauce, Whole-Milk Mozzarella, Grilled Chicken Raised Without Antibiotics, Roma Tomatoes, Green Onions, Cheddar, and Herb & Cheese Blend

Looks like there's only one in Bossier City and one in Shreveport as far as Louisiana locations go. I remember there being locations in Central, Denham, BR, etc. so they must have really shut down a lot.

I do agree the concept is a bit niche and likely is why so many have closed.

I like Papa Murphys. Thought the pizza was a lot better than the chain places. It's too bad they pulled out of BR a few years ago.

you can bitch about alot of things, but you can't bitch that rolling the dough and preparing the pizzas right in front of you with fresh vegetables & cheese is not as good as having a chain pizza delivered.

how can anyone argue this is a bad thing? you can absolutely tell the difference eating a pizza where everything is prepared fresh.

When the pizzas were in my parents fridge you could smell how fresh their ingredients were.

I was impressed with that for sure
