Kiffin is safe for at least 2-3 more years. If O is waiting on him then he is wasting his time.

Kiffin always fails upwards anyway

Given his career path, if he got fired from FAU, he would end up the HC at Ohio state

No reason LSU shouldn’t win at least 11 regular season games next season. Only toss up game is Bama.

Why is it so hard for LSU to understand stand that coach O can’t have a OC that wants to run their own offense? O had a top OC who came in and did a good job then he ran the guy off. O wants an OC that will do as he wants and Kiffin is definitely not that guy.

Without an elite LSU defense, LSU could have easily dropped the games to Auburn, Moo State, Georgia and possibly even Arkansas.

Talent wise, the defense will not be as good next year.

Right now, without offensive changes, there is zero (0) reason to think the offense will be better.

What happens to LSU if they have the same offense and a lesser defense? Thank God LSU gets Vandy instead of Georgia...!

More fantasy. LSU will be better on offense and still field a good defense. With a more favorable schedule they should win 11 games. You see things the way you wish them to be not the way they actually are. Maybe if you let some of the coach hate go you could see more clearly.

I just don't see it happening. Our schedule is too easy. O will likely have us in the exact same position as this year, and the O-Mobile will keep on chugging. Not a big O fan, but I just don't see him getting fired next season with our schedule (assuming we retain Aranda).

Do LSU fans really think O is firing Ensminger?

I think the general consensus is that Ensminger will retire when his contract is up

Yeah, I'm going with this.

O can only use the OC excuse so many times. In two years he's already hired two of his own OCs, fired one and the second appears to be in way over his head.

With so many players coming back and a favorable schedule, anything short of an 11 win regular season and being amidst the playoff discussion at the end of the season will be a failure and Alleva and O and whoever we have at OC can go.

And so help me God, if we're either blanked or completely non-competitive against Bama again, everyone should be fired before they leave Bryant-Denny Stadium next year. Save Aranda and Raymond.

There is no way LSU is going to can "O" if he has a bad season in '19. No...way...Jose'! You're delusional (or crazy) if you think next year is make-or-break for Orgeron.

Why wouldn't it be? That'll be the third full year under his leadership. Hate to break it to you, but a win against UCF in Arizona is not a guarantee. We could very well be Auburned. If he loses 3-4 games next year (which is possible) LSU will have the following records under O:

2017 9-4
2018 9-4
2019 9-4/10-3

That would be 9.3 or 9 wins per year, 4 losses to Bama, no CFP, and no trip ATL. We fired Miles for averaging 10 wins a season. What has changed that 10 wins under Miles was unacceptable, but 9 with O is just fine?

We have one of the highest paid coaching staffs in the country. 9 wins is not acceptable. Period.

I've been saying this since the pairings were announced and Tiger fans were implying that UCF is not a worthy opponent; the Knights will bust our arse if we take them lightly.

However, Orgeron is not going anywhere after next year. Sorry to disappoint you. Miles was here long enough to have made changes, which he promised but never fulfilled. Les Miles' stubbornness got him fired, not necessarily his won/loss record. If LSU's offense falters next year and "O" doesn't make changes to staff, philosophy, or both, then he'll be in warm water.
