Would you rather play a big name program like FSU, Nebraska, USC or UCLA in the Fiesta this year?

It ain't about the helmets and jersies it's about the team that's in them. UCF is a good football team. Are they top 4? Probably not. Top ten? Possibly. Top 20? Definitely.

LSU has far more to gain by playing UCF in the Fiesta Bowl than they would in an 11 am game vs a big ten also ran. The game will get far greater publicity than a lesser bowl against a bigger name would.

Tiger fans should be excited about this matchup.

LSU could lose the game, people need to chill with the “UCF isn’t worthy” shite.

They will beat the brakes off of this team without those dbs and lbs. no pass rush to boot. No subbing in dlinemen. It is a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE matchup.

That's not the point. I'd rather play a team that isn't down their best player. I'd LOVE to play UCF if they had Milton, it would be a really fun game and I think we'd win so that's good too.

It’s a lose/lose scenario.

No - as these teams aren't bowl eligible. Would I rather play Michigan, Ohio State, Washington, Texas, or Penn State? Absolutely.

LSU-UCF will be a dud. They'll bring maybe 10,000 "fans" max. They are a directional school with no history or meaningful fan support. It really is a lose-lose for LSU.

Nothing to do with prestige it's just a lose lose situation for LSU. They aren't going to get much credit if they beat a UCF team without Milton and will get ridiculed if they lose. Nothing to do with prestige.

The American Conference Champion versus a Big 10 team? That question answers itself. Especially since UCF had to win 56-41 over Memphis.

But I put nothing past Special Ed, after sitting in Nashville, watching him piss away a win over Notre Dame.

This should be enough motivation to destroy their dreams:

UCF is a great team who plays up to their competition. They may not have the stars on the recuiting sites, but they are loaded with talent and it shows.

I hope our team takes them seriously.

I hope we take this game seriously because they sure will. They will look at it as a turning point for their program.

I’d be much more excited had it been Michigan.... prob would have gone to game.
We’ve never played them in football.
Think about that.

UCf ... not so much. I’ll save that 2-3k and watch on TV.

It would be a complete embarrassment for O if LSU doesn’t blow out this UCF team missing their QB.

UCF should have a goose egg against our DBs, and LSU should have 2-3 defensive TDs alone.

We should beat the dog shite out of them and if we don’t then something isn’t right.
