It will be a glorious day when Trump pardons all of Mueller’s victims.

Many of you may not remember that the Mueller probe is an old play out of the democrat party playbook. They used it against GHWB throughout his presidency to limit his effectivess, weaken, and undermine him. Then it was the Walsh probe, with Judge Walsh playing the role of special independent counsel.

He led an investigation throughout GHWB’s presidency. The media promoted him the entire way with leaks and innuendo. The thrust was that GHWB was aware of Iran Contra by Reagan and helped to cover it up.

Some scalps were claimed by Walsh...North, Weinberger, Meese, etc. The media, led by CNN (keep in mind Fox News did not exist), consistently played the democrat narrative that GHWB would be impeached for Iran contra (the evidence was being uncovered and it could happen any time) and the US would be led by the hopeless, stupid, inexperienced Dan Quayle as president. What a dangerous disaster that would be! The media rolled with it over and over.

Anyway, after years of investigation and about $50M spent doing so, Walsh unveiled his report (conveniently after GHWB lost to Bill Clinton). Walsh kept the specter of impeachment hanging over GHWB until after the election for maximum effect of undermining the president. And Walsh had nothing. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Bupkis.

And the kicker: Walsh still said GHWB did what he was accused of, he just couldn’t find the evidence because the republicans were too evil at hiding it and getting away with it. He essentially said I can’t prove it...but he did it.

GHWB then pardoned Weinberger and the other victims of the Walsh witch hunt and the media melted HARD. But GHWB didn’t care; he had already lost to Clinton and said frick it.

I’m expecting a similar repeat of history.
