I know people hate talking about next season, but if we dont have some mass exodus to the NFL, the team should be really quite good if they can get the damn OL figured out at all.

The schedule is pretty nice too. Beat Texas early on and it's 5-0 heading into Florida, at home. Auburn, A&M at home as well. That's huge. Who cares where we play Bama, we wont win anyways

Could just as easily go 8-4. A&M went toe to toe with us the entire game and that wasn’t luck. Them winning the game was but that looked like two equal teams out there to anyone that was watching.

So much can happen in one offseason. Too early to give predictions.

Plus Ed Orgeron has never finished a full season with less than 3 losses so I won't take my chances.

I've been an O supporter this entire time. If we don't go 11-1 and make the the playoffs next season, I would start shopping around for a new coach.

I see 10-2, at best, with Utah State being the "trap game".

If LSU ends 11-1, with their only loss to Bama, it will be a NY6 bowl.

LSU will never make it to a playoff without winning the SECCG. The sooner you all get that in your heads the better off you will be.

11-1 Record or Better Likely in 2019

LSU hasn't won more than nine games since 2013, this HC hasn't EVER won more than nine regular season games in his coaching career, and we have had defeats we shouldn't have had for the last three years, but next year we win eleven or more?

That would be fine with me, but I don't see it happening with this HC or OC or AD. Nothing they have done in three years suggest that happening.

With the talent coming in and huge improvements to the OL

Who is going to coach them? Because right now the coach is doing a shitty job. They have gotten worse as the season progressed. The OL was supposed to be better this year due to an influx of talent and another year of experience. Why take the same blind optimism other than Kardell Thomas looking like a Freshman All American? He can't play all 5.

I agree. I predicted 10-2 this season, but they did not live up to expectations. I see no reason why O should not win at least 11 games next season.

How could you possibly have downvotes? Someone started a thread that the sorriest human on the planet is the non-alumni Bama fan living in LA and I have to disagree. They are pitiful little people I admit, but they are better than the so-called LSU fan who hates Miles, O, (insert name of coach that they didn't pick) so much that they would rather the coach fail than the program thrive. Ya'll suck hajicock.

11-1 is realistic but 9-3 is more likely

2 Open dates in one season? That seems odd.

Texas (L)
Florida (L)
Bama (L)
Texas A&M (L)

8-4, 9-3 will always be the ceiling with the current staff.

I don't think 11-1 is "likely" for ANY team not from Tuscaloosa. It's a very tall order no matter who you are. Is it possible? Absolutely. Should it be EXPECTED? Absolutely not.

I will believe that shite when I see it.

All year long Burrow had the pocket collapse on him and had to run for his life. Two years in a row we heard O bemoan the lack of O-line talent after getting dominated by Bama again.

One offseason is gonna change that?

We shall see.

Why do you do this to yourselves every year? Whos your quarterback? Do you even have a run game? What about defense? Lets slow the roll cause you will be taking the L in austin.
