Our work used to accept personal online deliveries until it got out of hand. One guy was building a Jeep from scratch and was having the crates and boxes dropped off at the front door. That pretty much ruined it for everybody.

Amazon just sent me a picture of the package they delivered. Can't decide if they're doing this to CYA with theft or because their flex drivers are dumbasses.

BoxLock

I've been wondering if these locks on a box in front of my house would be worth it.

All of my Amazon Prime deliveries have been taking, at a minimum, four days to get here. Most take 5-7 now. Robbers gonna be missing out on some good stuff

I leave my front door wide open to prevent this kind of stuff from happening

That’s ballsy having crates sent to work.

Tires.
The last straw here was the guy who had a full set of truck tires delivered to the office.

Mine is coming by FedEx. Buy more expensive stuff and they'll use good carriers, peasants!
One of the advantages of USPS Amazon is that messing with the postal service is a Fed Crime with serious consequences if caught and USPS investigative/police all their own to dedicate to thefts. You don't have local yokel Officer MaketheReport come out to stick his thumb up his butt and never follow through on theft.

Amazon packages stolen

My buddy is a beekeeper. You'd be amazed how easy it is to fill an Amazon box with live bees.

The trick is to have an opening on the underside of the box. The perps will usually hear the humming, and lift the box to get a better listen.

They were a few of the ladies that wanted to whip his arse and couple were big enough to do it. He left the next summer, but the rule stayed in place as far as I know. Hopefully it has changed back now.

If it’s a small package (let’s say smaller than a criminal) you can open your garage door a crack and Amazon delivery will slide it under the garage door out of reach.

Ring Doorbell, or any one that alerts and records, for this sole reason.
