They do a lot more than that, as I stated above a small state like MS needs a powerful senator more than others, they do not just pass laws it is much more complex

CHS will win this race, say a few nice words tonight, and then promptly and quietly disappear and then she will be a perfectly average and ordinary senator that will rubber stamp everything Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell, Haley Barber and Phil Bryant wants.
If you're a GOP voter in Mississippi, that's something you can live with.
