Aggies may best LSU or lose, but it won’t change the narrative that Fla State respected Fisher with a great contract, and his response was to leave their football program in shambles, no other coach left a football program in such disarray, not at Texas, Miss St or LSU.

Will that make it easier to stomach when Fisher beats Orgeron on Saturday?

Did he really though? Either all of his classes were extremely over-hyped, or maybe Taggert is just a garbage coach.

I'll give you that Jimbo basically took his last year at FSU off after losing his starting QB against bama week 1. But let's not pretend like that team isn't loaded with good players. At least players good enough to be better than 5-6 currently.

Agree. Francois, Akers, Marvin Wilson they have quality players. Not a 5-6 record in the ACC type of players.

Right he did it on purpose

At worst he missed on some recruits and mailed it in his last year

Sounds like you are jilted because Jimbo isn’t the coach of LSU.

I think this year has shown there is more going on with FSU's program than just the head coach or talent.

Jimbo expressed his frustration in the past with the seeming lack of support from school administrators, and facilities falling behind other ACC schools. Taggart was generally applauded as a really good hire, and he's talked about players quitting during games.

Jimbo shouldn't be excused from all their problems, but he clearly wanted out for a reason.

all this bitching about Jimbo, yet we'd have taken him in a heartbeat and would be singing his praises if he were here.

This board is chock full of emotional infants.

Well, this of course, depends, doesn't it?

I'm not making this as a point in favor or against us having hired Jimbo. Just as to fickleness.

My guess is Orgeron would whip Jimbo’s arse beyond recognition, but your point about his team is noted, and remains to be seen.

So Taggert was the head coach last year when Fla St. stunk up the place? Please explain.

Fisher recruited FSU very well, and why would he not? Florida is an extremely talent-rich state. FSU also has some of the best facilities in the ACC (despite what Jimbo would say).

Where he fell there was recruiting on the OL. He recruited too many projects and and a thug or two that couldn't stick around. Taggert is wildly overrated, even more so than Jimbo.

Their last three recruiting classes sucked, no NFL’s drafting these players.

Not a Jimbo fan. Wasn't excited in the least of him coming to LSU.
